Roles & Responsibilities :

  1. as per AICTE regulation, 2019 vide F No. 1-101/PGRC/AICTE/Regulation/2019 dated 07.11.2019.
  2. The student grievance redressal committee follow the guidelines, rules and regulation of the AICTE for redressal of grievances.
  3. The SGRC shall fix a day for hearing the complaint which shall be communicated to the institution and aggrieved student. In considering the grievances before it, the SGRC followed Principles of natural justice.
  4. The SGRC shall send the reports with recommendation if any to the institution and a copy thereof to the aggrieved student within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the complaint.
  5. Grievances not resolved by the committee shall be referred to the Ombudsman person within the time period provided in the regulations.
  6. Prepare and submit reports to the principal and concerned as per the guidelines of AICTE/DTE/UoM/ Government of Maharashtra wherever required.
