Roles & Responsibilities :
- as per AICTE regulation, 2019 vide F No. 1-101/PGRC/AICTE/Regulation/2019 dated 07.11.2019.
- The student grievance redressal committee follow the guidelines, rules and regulation of the AICTE for redressal of grievances.
- The SGRC shall fix a day for hearing the complaint which shall be communicated to the institution and aggrieved student. In considering the grievances before it, the SGRC followed Principles of natural justice.
- The SGRC shall send the reports with recommendation if any to the institution and a copy thereof to the aggrieved student within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the complaint.
- Grievances not resolved by the committee shall be referred to the Ombudsman person within the time period provided in the regulations.
- Prepare and submit reports to the principal and concerned as per the guidelines of AICTE/DTE/UoM/ Government of Maharashtra wherever required.
