Women Grievance Committee

In view of the recent upsurge in cases of abuse and harassment of women and the need to build a safe environment for lady students and staff members Thakur Shyamnarayan Engineering has constituted a 'Women Grievance Redressal Committee' in accordance with the requirement of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). The said committee will be functioning to attend and handle any cases/ complaints related to eve teasing, indecent behavior towards women, sexual harassment of women and related issues. The constitution of the committee is as follows for the Academic Year 2025-26:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Receive, examine, and address complaints from women students or staff in a fair and confidential manner and conduct the meeting as and when the complaint received in writing.
• Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to prevent harassment, discrimination, or any form of injustice.
• Conduct workshops, counseling sessions, and awareness programs on women’s safety, rights, and empowerment.
• Maintain proper records of grievances and actions taken, and submit reports to the Principal and concerned authorities when required.
• Promote gender sensitivity and inclusivity across academic and co-curricular activities.
