Establishment Of Committee for SC/ST

Following Staff member are appointed as a Member of Establishment of Committee for SC/ST for the Academic Year 2025-26.

The SC/ST Committee should follow the rules and regulation as per the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention if Atrocities) Act, 1989, No. 33 of 1989, dated 11.09.1989.

Roles & Responsibilities of Committee:

• Monitor and ensure implementation of policies and guidelines related to the welfare of SC/ST students and staff.
• Look into complaints of discrimination, harassment, or denial of rights and take necessary action as per norms.
• Organize awareness programs and counseling sessions on equal opportunity, legal rights, and government welfare schemes.
• Maintain confidentiality while addressing grievances and submit periodic reports to the Principal and AICTE, wherever required.
• Foster a culture of mutual respect, inclusivity, and equal access to all academic and co-curricular opportunities.

• Periodically review progress and submit reports to the Principal.
