Institute Advisory Board Committee

Following Staff members are appointed as a Member of Institute Advisory Board Committee as per guidelines of AICTE, for the Academic Year 2025-26.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning & Policy Guidance The IAB provides strategic direction by aligning the vision, mission, and long-term goals of the institution with AICTE/UGC regulations, NEP 2020, and industry requirements.
• Academic & Curriculum Development It advises on academic planning and curriculum development, ensuring that programs are updated regularly to include emerging technologies, interdisciplinary fields, and industry-driven skills, while also meeting accreditation standards (NBA/NAAC).
• Research, Innovation & Consultancy The Board fosters research, innovation, and consultancy by encouraging faculty and students to engage in applied research, collaborative projects, and patent filing.
• Industry–Academia Linkages It strengthens industry–academia linkages through partnerships with industries, research laboratories, and professional organizations, facilitating internships, industrial training, guest lectures, and live projects.
• Faculty & Staff Development It supports faculty and staff development by recommending FDPs, workshops, training programs, global exposure, and strategies for retention of quality faculty.
• Infrastructure & Resource Mobilization It provides guidance on infrastructure development, including modern laboratories, smart classrooms, libraries, ICT tools, and resource mobilization through external funding and CSR initiatives.
• Quality Assurance & Accreditation The IAB monitors quality assurance by reviewing academic outcomes, student performance, placement records, research output, publications, patents, and institutional rankings, and recommending improvements.
• Student Development & Placements: Guide the enhancement of student employability, entrepreneurship, and higher education opportunities by suggesting measures to improve soft skills, leadership, and career readiness, while also connecting students with mentors, alumni, and industry experts.
• Monitoring and Review Conduct periodic reviews of institutional performance in academics, research, placements, and outreach, ensure that recommendations are implemented and documented, and submit an annual report of the board’s activities and outcomes.
